I’m Don St Germain, an Associate Broker and Personal Real Estate Corporation with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada. I’ve worked in real estate since 2009, helping clients buy and sell homes across Greater Victoria and southern Vancouver Island.

I was born and raised on southern Vancouver Island. That background gives me a practical understanding of how one community can differ from the next, even when the distance between them looks small on a map. Sooke is a good example. A home near the town centre, a waterfront property, an East Sooke acreage and a newer home in Sunriver can offer completely different lifestyles and ownership responsibilities.

I've spent my life on Vancouver Island, and I still appreciate how quickly the landscape changes as you travel west toward Sooke. The pace becomes quieter, the coastline feels closer and there is more room for properties that don't fit a standard suburban description.
